Elegance Redefined is a tailoring studio in Barberino Tavarnelle focused on garment remodelling and clothing alterations. We work with dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, and vintage pieces that deserve a second life.

Our approach is clear and measured: assess the fabric and construction, discuss the redesign, confirm the scope, then carry out the work with attention to fit, finish, and wearability.

Our story

Built around garments with meaning

Since 2017, the studio has helped customers update garments they already value, from everyday pieces to sentimental items and vintage finds.

The work starts with an honest assessment of what the garment can support. Seam allowances, fabric condition, and construction details all shape the final outcome, so each recommendation is grounded in the item in front of us.

Some projects call for a precise fit update, while others benefit from a more visible redesign. We also create fabric-reuse accessories when a garment has enough material to inspire something new.

Customers come to us for design discussions, realistic quotes, and a clear process from inquiry to collection. At pickup, we review the finished piece again and note any final fit or finish adjustments that may be needed.

Our redesign work respects what the existing fabric can realistically achieve. When a new concept depends on material availability or construction limits, we say so early and plan accordingly.

Thoughtful upcycling

We look for practical ways to reuse fabric, whether that means updating a silhouette or turning usable material into a new accessory project. The goal is to extend the life of the garment.

Finish and care review

At collection, we review the finished item once more and note care and pressing guidance so the garment can be worn and stored with confidence after the work is complete.
